Last week Sunday I was searching the web and came across, an article that was done on my great uncle in the rod and custom 2012 December issue. I bought the magazine off eBay and sure enough the article was in the magazine on page 80 with pictures of the roadster and a picture of the 32. How cool is that. Now I will have to continue to search the web for more of these magazines. http://www.rodandcustommagazine.com/hotnews/1212rc_december_2012_readers_rods/
HRP ... I sure cant boast ... all my ancestors were either cowboys or Indians. The one below had a hot-rod brahma bull that he rode in parades all over the west ... typical of all my ancestors. Quote of my Dad "Yep I had one of those 32 roadsters in about 1940. Piece of **** V8 over heated, the windows were made of plastic and it didn't have a heater in it ... piece of ****"
Thats pretty cool. I recently found out that my great uncle Dale Lambrose was one of the pioneers of hot rodding. Apparently there is a write up of him in the rodders journal..I still need to track it down and find out more about him. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
