I tried searching the forum and didn't come up with much, so if this HAS been adressed, please... don't flame me out. My Custom Paint/Restoration shop has been extremely busy for quite a while now and I'm constantly turning work away. I have a great crew, but I could sure use one more good guy or gal. With all the shows on TV like Fast 'n Loud, Counting Cars, the American Hot Rod series, Orange Co. guys, etc., you might think there'd be some interested folks looking to do this kind of work. Problem is, every one that I come across either has the "collision shop mentality" (get it in, get it done, get another one in), or else he's a pill-head, an alcoholic or has SOME kind of baggage that affects his work performance. I'm looking for someone that WANTS to do restoration work, kinda like I did a hundred years ago. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can find just one quality guy?
Good luck ! Had a Hot rod shop and Retail store with 10 employees for thirty years . It was a job just trying to keep them ! Try some Tech Colleges ! Now I have my hobbie back !!! Sorry didn't mean to jump on your post !
