  5. I think I may have a starter core or two laying around back home in California. The problem is I won't be back from Germany 'till december but you can have one them if you're not in a hurry.
    Congrats! that's a wicked score!!!

  6. I may have a few other random pieces (front turn signal, headlight bezel, hubcap, etc) but I'd have to check...

Do yourself a favor and start $$ now for a Transmission adapter setup to a 350 ******, a Ford 9" or Chevy rear. I speak from experience. I had a '55 Special 4 dr. hardtop. Cool *** car, but the Dynaflow ****s as does the closed driveline. Upgrade the rear, ****** and shaft and you'll be ****tin in the tall gr***!

I love to see saved cars, I don't know how anyone could take something like that to the crusher. Just a few years ago I was wondering around the local metal yard and saw the side of a 56 Chevy two door sedan that looked like it was in about the same condition as you Buick is right before they baried the other side of it in a 30ft pile of steel. It still makes me sick when I think about that day.

No wonder I couldn't sell my Mercury. There are so many old cars around people are throwing them away!

For the former owner i dont know if I wanna punch him in the face w/ a log for giving a cool old ride to the s**** man .Or shake his hand so a true hamber car guy could be able to find the car and save it . Unreal what people toss away .Great job on the rescue !!

A 55 Buick was my first old car and my first of quite a few Buicks. I'd look for a 56 Buick rear bumper instead there way cooler looking. I always wanted to do a 56 with a 55 front clip, but use the 56 portholes. 54 grill teeth in the 55 grill with the big bullets in there. A 54-5-6 I guess.
    Sweet score man
