My dad and I went on a 1700 mile round trip from mid Michigan to SW Missouri to get it. Then we took Route 66 all the way back to Chicago. It's solid as a rock and really complete. Hell, it's even got a gun rack! I already had a guy stop by and offer to double my money on it, but I want to get it running. Plans are to lower it, clear coat it, and swap in the hot flathead that was going in my roadster. I'm going to try and have it ready for Autorama Detroit next year. Looks like a nice solid truck. Congrats! Have you ordered a dropped axle from Sid yet? Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
No, but that's the route I'm going for the front end. I'm going to raise the shackle mounts in the rear like Kevin Lee did on his F1. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Cool f1, I have good memories of helping my friend build one in high school. Congrats! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Nice lookin' truck. Luv that 48 thru 50 year grill. Reminds me of the old quarter mile 41 Willis Gassers. Ya mentioned has a gun rack. I want to put a metal rear window gun rack in my 48 F1. Do you know know if I there's enough metal in window frame to bolt one in?
