Just throwing this out there to see if anyone is interested in going to the HAMB Drags in Missouri this August. I've got room for 3 people that would share fuel costs to Joplin and back. You would also be responsible for your own meals, 1 or 2 nights of hotels, entrance fees to the track, and any other personal expenses. If this trip happend, I would be leaving San Antonio, early Friday morning around 12:30 or 1 am, and will be in my 2012 crew max truck (so no cramped quarters in the back seats and lots of room for luggage, chairs, ez-ups, and coolers in the bed). We would drive non-stop and plan to arrive in Joplin Friday around lunch time. We would probably start the return trip home early Sunday morning arriving home late Sunday night. I could pick you up anwhere along interstate 35 north of San Antonio. If interested send me a PM.
Someone should take you up on that kind offer Jeff. If I could ride that far without stopping to pee every 30 miles, worrying about highs and lows, and shooting insulin every 3 hours, I would go. I'm a liability. My Bro left Anderson, Missery last year and moved to Vegas otherwise we would have room and board.
