How about a photograph as art?

  13. Don't have anything tonight but will post a couple of older pieces.I bought a helmet this afternoon for a dollar at a yard sale and guess I'll trick it up a bit tomorrow.

The,"Ladies" I brought out today because a friend of mine is borrowing them for an auction this weekend.I ran into her at the coffee shop today and she was putting a poster in the window for the auction this weekend.I may have to go just to take some pictures because it is a rather unique auction:It's called the,"Art Bra Auction"! I'm not making this up!

She works for several charities locally and basically what they did was get a bunch of artists in the area, gave them each a bra and told them to go wild decorating them. They will then be auctioned off for charity.

The one she had with her today was covered with miniature artificial fruit and she said some of them are REALLY far out! She also said they are going to have a couple of live models so that should be interesting(dirty old man snicker)!

    Anyway here's a couple of the,"participants"

Another Desk Top Art Work. This one is another vintage super modified from the early 70s. This all steel Art Work is about 8" long, 5" wide and about 4" high. It features a lift off body to display the detailed chassis. It is #54 and was an ordered car.

For those of you wondering about the Desk Top Art Work Doc won on the HAMB Auction, I am awaiting pictures from Doc. His car is located in a different state from where he is. He thought he might be able to get there to take pictures of it next week. For the money he paid (and he has already paid for it), its only right to do it on his time frame. Look for in to turn up here in a few weeks. :D I have pictures of the motor, if the car is anything like the motor, this thing is going to be KOOL. Gene

Hey JDD, you neeed to save your file as somethig other than a .psd, like a jpeg or a gif. so other people without photoshop can see it...

My little addition for the week.

A sand rail trailer I striped for a buddy. Both fenders looked the same so I figured one pic was enough.

The other picture is from a line of note cards my sister did in '94. Ran across them when cleaning out a closet. This is the only one that was car related. I like the dog pissin' on the front wheel.

    Amazing show so far everyone.
