Here are my pics from the show. I've got more custom pics than maybe have been posted. Also a couple pics from the sunday Lion's club show. Note the celebrity interview shots of Plowboy giving ESPN2 the scoop on the Spacetruck.

And for good measure, since everyone ignored my car, I have several shots at the end for your enjoyment. :D Hey, give me a break, it's the first Pileup I've actually gotten to drive my own car to! hahahaha

Great pics, does anyone know why the choped truck w/o a bed has those gas bottles just in front of the rear crossmember? Is he using them for a gas tank? Just curious.

Yeah, that is the gas tank. do a search for sloppy jalopy and you'll get the build spec. It was built in 27 days and driven to the Pileup under it's own power.

Oh, gottcha. :D I told him Friday night we should at least put some scallops on it!

that Fairlane was nice. That Buick (?) that was chopped was cool too. Don't see many mid 50s cars chopped.

Thanks for the great pics! First one I saw anybody post of mine...this was the first big shakedown for my car, and the first place it has gone under full power..(been chasing the engine problems since July...figured out is was two bent exhaust valves in the pass side head...finally got the head back 7:30 Friday night...was up all night putting it together, and then drove it 250 miles to the pileup)...Just glad somebody noticed, since i got there so late...

Chad, Thanks for making me feel like a tool. Ha Ha Ha

I should have showed ESPN officer handy.

It will be interesting to see if they use any of the footage from the bar. If they do, look at the window behind the band. I am outside rubbing my nipples on the window and showing off officer handy. I was showing off for Tyler and Mrs. Bleed. Ha Ha Ha

Good photos of the event. Is that reverse-flow SBC for real? How is that accomplished?

    Thanks,

Does this run? I never would have thought this was even possible. Looks like he's running a bunch of bike carbs. I wonder how well it runs.
