1958 Edsel water pump 361FE..... Will Ford fit?

Hey everyone i just found out through a local parts store that my edsels water pump is discontinued, this true? What do i do when i need one? I want to go through my cooling system asap. Thanks!

 

Go to a different Auto Parts Store. All FE water pumps are the same on the block side of things, but your Edsel may have a different shaft length. Shouldn't be too hard to find though.

If all else fails, order one from Kanter or someone similar and keep it on the shelf.

I would bet it could be rebuilt as well.

 

They said they coud send it out dor rebuild but may take a bit of time and not sure of the cost

 

The early FE engines used a longer shaft on the waterpumps. '58 Edsel 361, '59 Edsel 332, and Ford '58-'59 332 and 352 are the same.
