are they 3D models with a toon shader? or scanned pictures with 2D paint work done to them? inquiring minds need to know great job.
i appreciate the comments. i just take stock photos and use photoshop to create the customs. each one usually takes about 8hrs or so. here are some close ups of the ssr. i didnt realize the friday art show thread was goin on...i posted there, too. hope its cool.
ya, excellant work man. the datsun has some neat shadows on the wheels... were the shadows a post process or were they actually in the image, then enhanced?
Great job. I used to run a prepped five and dime in D street prepared. Good handling little car. Doc.
Damn, good edits dude... Now haw about doing some that contain cars that we give a shit about..... Just ribbin' ya. I occasionally hang out on other (new) car message boards and have entered a few photo'chops into some "just for fun" contests. About a year ago I entered a design constest calling for a new Chevy passenger car - 4 doors only. I thought that GM should have some continuity in their line-up (why only one retro design, right?) So I took an SSR and made this abortion.....
......AWESOME work!!!! I realize that the 510 is "off topic," but I had one in '74-'75. Baddass little car! I was into "drifting" with it on the street. It handled so well that you could just throw it sideways and it would hang all day...........thanks for the flashback!
thx for the comments. i wish i could do some older american stuff. buts tough finding pictures to work w/. i'd like to do a 55 chevy pu and a 52 buick. that ssr piece is sick, nice work. i'm not into the ssr, but i knew that it could be decent w/ the right touch. 510s are just plain fun...my buddy had a 72 back in high school w/ a L18 and 5speed Z tranny. fun road cars, they're like adult go karts.
