Where is the John Milner Coupe at now?

After looking at that Ricky Nelson car, I flashed back to 1974 A.G. movie and wondered just whatever did happen to the John Milner 32 Ford Coupe? Does anyone drive it anywhere? Is it just gone out of sight or? Gary 4T950 Chevy Guy

 

Its on tour with the guy that played Milner, saw them last year in Danbury, Ct. There has to be a website for it out there somewhere.

 

I believe the guy who owns it lives in San Francisco. At least thats what I heard. I have a fairly new poster from a ford parts place with it on it.

Oh...by the way, the guy who played Milner is named Paul LeMat. ...Nice guy, met him some years back. He was happy to stand around and talk to me about the movie. I thought that was cool.

 

I saw it in August of this year in Reno at Hot August Nights.

Do you mean that '32 5 window with the too short grill shell. It's everywhere. People clone that car every day. There's one on ebay right now. Go buy it. It's great, you should have it.

 

A guy named Rick Figaro from Nor Cal owns it, and a clone of the 55 Chevy, he sends them out on tour with Bo Hopkins, Paul LeMat, Candy Clark, they do the whole sit around and autograph pictures thing. Neat car, still has the camera mounts on the frame.

Paul LeMat even has (and drives) a clone of his own. He might be fooling some of you guys.

My orange coupe is listed under "clones" and my dad's coupe is listed under 'Whatcha think" ( They are convinced that the blue coupe called "Rackety Boom" is one of the magazine cars Lucas had Henry Travers pattern the yellow coupe after).

I saw it in Merced last year at the Graffiti show. It does have the camera mounts on it and "CS" pocket in the p***enger side door. The paint is showing it's age but it still looks pretty good.

 

This weekend it is on display at the cow palace car show in california. Along with Paul Le matt Cindy Williams Bo Hopkins and Candy Clark

 

The car that changed the lives of guys and gals worldwide! My folks took ne to the original in my PJs..........I love them for it.

 

I went to see it in my PJ's and got arrested!

 

I saw it and them at Minnesota's Back to the Fifties two years ago. On a side note, Bo Hopkins has gotta be one of the coolest dudes I've ever met. That guy wasn't even acting in Graffitti...he was just being himself.

 

I met a guy locally who is 'apparently' friends or has family ties w/Rick...I bought some parts off him and he is 'cloning' the car as well but he showed me some outstanding detailed pics of that car that i guess Rick copied for him that he acuired from the studio...He even had pics of the original car they purchased and then shows the changes made for the movie.....

I also had the oppurtunity to meet Bo/Candy Clark and glad i did....I had my son with me who was only 18 months old at the time and Bo took it upon himself to ask to hold him....I couldnt get the camcorder out fast enough....I cant wait till my son get older to show him that footage!

 

Is rocker Jeff Beck's 32 the original or a clone ? It has the correct license plates on it.

 

That would be a clone. Plates are easily faked, but I saw Beck's many years ago in a magazine and it wasn't even a good clone from what I remember.
