i have my dual rochester single barrel set up on my 235 chevy block. they have been rebuilt and almost all lines connected except my vacuum lines. when i bought the carbs they did not have any vacuum fittings on them. iv searched carb rebuild/ parts web sites and no one offers any for the 1bbl carb. does the tip diameter the vacuum line attach to matter what size the diameter hole is or should i match it to the size of the fuel pump vacuum line tip diameter.

if this doesnt make sense let me know ill get pics

Some pictures might be helpful. Do you need a source of manifold vacuum or ported/off idle vacuum?

your local parts/hardware store should have something, shove the rubber line on there, don't over think it.

If I'm not mistaken the vacuum port is 1/8" pipe thread. The stock fitting is a 3/16" compression fitting
By 1/8" pipe thread. You can block the port you are not using with a 1/8" pipe plug.
