Other than the fenders on a 1.5 ton truck, is the hood and grille the same as well as the cab as a half ton pickup thx

Thank you for the answer, I have been told the grille was bigger and maybe the hood, just wanted to know for sure.

I'm in the middle of a build using 39-40 Chevy pickup parts.
Keep in mind that the rad support is spot welded to the grille shell. If the 1.5 ton version has a different rad support ( Dodge and IHC do) from the half-ton version, get ready for some modifications.
I buy 1.5 ton versions of trucks and try to make pickups, it's not as easy as it seems.
For example, some 1.5 ton cabs have holes where the 1.5 ton front fenders bolt. Half-ton pickups don't have these holes.
The Chevy/ GMC cabs from these years all look identical at first but have lots of differences.
Like firewall bump out (so different rad support rod lengths), ID plate placement (GMC is inside often on middle of firewall), and rear wdo attachments.
I'm doing one right now so I feel your pain. Good Luck, Don
