I've spend hours searching the net and can't find a definitive photo that states the candy tangerine was shot over silver. It's probably my lack of ability to search well honestly.... So i figured i'd ask here 'cause i know there are some skilled painters here who may have done it, and taken photo's. I don't need a lot of pics, just a couple would be just fine and this thread can slip off into oblivion.. Just looking for a few photo's so i can ponder the idea i have for a bike i'm building. Its what my rivi was actually....The photos I have the color gets lost tho......one of my fav custom colors.....sorry im no help now!
Look at the house of kolor real paint color chip book. There a bit pricey but worth every penny! Besides it will also show you any of there kandy colors over all there different kandy base colors! I've shot that tangerine over silver flake, but over there gold base with flake added it has a richer look!! Most photos don't do kandy paint jobs much justice! IMO any way... I've used HOK as well a few times and plan to use it on this project too. Thanks for the tips as well. So you used a gold base, silver flake topped with tangerine, or gold flake? DDR thanks man.
