I am running a full house flathead(bored, stroked, ported, polished, relieved, racer brown cam, 3 deuces, wiend heads.) The problem is coming to a stop it wants to sputter and almost stall out. I have set float levels a few times(trying different heights) with always the same result. Runs 2 1/2 PSI fuel pressure. I just put in a new power valve (4 1/2). I filled the bowls with gas on the bench with no leaks after 20 minutes. Runs GREAT going down the road, idles good too, except stopping. Running .052 jets in main carb, with .041 in secondary carbs. No idle circuits in secondary carbs. Hope I gave enough info. Any help would be great. Thanks
try this a ton of info here http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=286574&highlight=holley+94+info
Rick, there is no such thing as thick secondary plates on any carb except the Rochester 2G. On 94's and 97's one uses the 12 degree plates in lou of the stock 6 degree ones.
You are not running the carbs facing rearward are you? There are a couple intakes out ther for flatties the have them set backwards.
