That's right folks, this is the 4th year of our annual "NO OVERHEADS" E vs W flat head reliability run. This years date is Saturday Sept. 14th. This gives everyone in the area time to shake the cobwebs loose off their ol ride and get it ready! This is an open run, open to any make and model, car, truck, bike, etc...as long as it is flat head powered. Vintage OHV conversions are allowed (Adrun, Riley, Rajo, etc) as long as it is still flat head based.

This run grows every year, well over 100 cars/trucks last year. Lets keep it going!

The idea is simple- The east side of the state vs the West side. We will meet in Vantage, WA at Blusterie's Burgers no later then noon. This is roughly the half way point between Seattle and Spokane. The side with the most cars wins. Come drive your old car, have lunch, enjoy good company and vintage iron, and head home. This run is free, we sell T-shirts, posters and decals to help offset the cost. We sold out very early last year so get em fast! We are also working on a swap meet area!!!! Anyone interested in vending get a hold of me!

I will keep bumping this throughout the year until the run. Please PM or call me AT 509-869-0266 with any questions, and we will be handing out flyers at shows and swap meets!!

Hopefully I'll be driving the A, followed by the Misses in the Stude this year. Unless work gets in the way, again.

    Can't wait...

Um...can I borrow a flathead? A week earlier this year means I'll be able to make it!

Well by my schedule this year it's the second Saturday of September rather than the third which is always already spoken for, so I'm happy.
Driving--riding---one way or the other I'll be there!

I made the trek from Portland last year solo and it was one of the best days out on the road since I drove my T from North Dakota. The level of cars at this event, based on its total attendance, is off the charts. I doubt if I will ever miss another one of these! Come on West Side. At least I have all season to invite other guys from my region.

  13. Planning on it just like last year. Hopefully no weddings this time.

Man. I can't belive it has been 5 months since the last one. Almost half way to this years run. Anyone who hasn't made one of these should definately have it on their bucket list for this year. I think we should be really pushing the Long Distance award this year. Maybe some SoCal guys could drive up to help out the West Side car count.

Hey, I don't want to see one of those lucky penny things in your instagram show up in the center of YOUR steering wheel.

Don't you have to have one of those rare in-block-valve jobs to participate in this event??

Oh yeah, I got one of those :D

Top valves are for amateurs !!

just thinking about this run, wondering how many will make the effort from the wet side. I'll be there. Wait, isn't that a song?

  30. This is by far the event I look forward to each year even though I still don't own a FH. However the laid back run is awesome. We have made every year and amazed at the crowds it brings. If you are thinking about making this then do yourself a favor and do it. Seriously folks this is a cool gathering and well worth the travels.
