I'm looking for somebody to custom build a round stainless gas tank. Can I get some suggestions on where to look? I went through the Alliance Member list and didnt see anybody listed specific to gas tanks. Thanks.

Try a place that sells and services restaurant equipment. They usually have someone there that builds tables and vent hoods in stainless. They could do it.

You may want to tell them you need a "water" tank otherwise they may turn the job done for liability reasons.

What is everybody's thoughts on stainless vs aluminum in regards to today's ethanol blended fuels? Is one better than the other when it come to corrosion?

Moonlite Metal in Mooresville, NC. I just seen him make a GTO tank out of stainless because the client wanted one made in the USA. It was a dead nut reproduction. His skills are off the carts.

Hard on aluminum and why tanks should be made of 5052 alu and no issues with stainless

Thanks for the help on this. I called Rock Valley and they can make it but they can only do flat ends which I don't want. I asked if I could send them the endcaps and they said "maybe."
