Washington State: Always the most authentic, realistic, genuine iron.
This looked like, "Ho-hum, another collection of pics..."

Boy, was I surprised! EVERY car you photoed was worth studying. Those three pinup models were smashing...The brunette riding shotgun in the 'Other Speed Shop's A-D is beautiful.

Know why flathead $tuff went so high in California? 'Cause the Washington guys grabbed it, and are RUNNING it.

Great photo play, actually felt like I was there!

Damn I miss this event! I was kinda quiet when I was there in 2005 and 2006 'caue I really didn't know anybody in the area and the Plymouth is not to the letter of the law traditional. I was kinda surprised though when I got home one of those summers and saw pictures taken of it at this event! Fun! I hope to get back up there soon.

Donlan's '29 on '32 rails is still one of my favorite cars ever, and great to see some good close up detail shot's of it. And, I hate to point it out with all of the great cars shown here, but I wouldn't be complete in my total ****atude if I didn't give mention of the Silverking wing bar bicycle in these picts... Ultra rare, ultra cool! I own the one before it with a round tubing frame, but that's just in a different league all together!

  13. Hell it's the least I can do for the great times and a great dinner. I'll promote the **** out of your shop just for the meal!!! :D:D:D:D

  14. Thanks for the great pics Mr Whippet...... and thanks Steve and Josh for having another great get together!

Nice pics! I saw a lot of those cars at the Goodguys show on Saturday. Wished I went to Amocat afterwards......

  20. I think I talked to you. I have the old paint 5 window 36.

  21. Ya. Hats off to Steve and the crew. Nice meeting you Rabid.

  22. You too, your cars are fricking bad ***!!!! I cannot believe the Canadian force that come down. Every car I really like at Goodguys seem to have Canadian plates!! Between you, Laurie, Johnny, you guys rock with your cars!! Hows the show up in Sechelt?

  23. Thanks man. I've never been to the show in Sechelt. I know. Shoot me. But I hear it is a hell of a good one. Going to try and do it next year for sure.

    Love the pics

  28. Thanks all. I think I need a new camera. The one I have has sat in a bucket of water for 4 hours, been dropped a ton of times, and pretty muched abused since I've had it. I think the clarity is diminishing every time I use it. Or I'm beginning to shake as Im getting older.Nope not the shakes, steady as a rock. I don't delete any pictures or edit, I just take and post. Glad everyone enjoys them. There's a few more shows that are coming up. Missed a real cool one today just down the street put on by the Beggars car club. Mostly traditional cars and customs. I was working on my 1936 as both engine mounts were broken and the rear pinion is set at the wrong degrees.

hope all is well with the 36 now !

  30. It's funny what you see on your car on a lift. I rewelded the rear end perches when it was on the ground as the pinion was pointing way down from the previous owner. I checked it and rechecked it when it was on the ground and me on the back. It turns out my pinion was pointing up about 5 degrees too much so I have installed new pinion wedges to correct the pinion angle and spent all weekend cutting , grinding, fabricating new frame mounts and went to a factory Ford mount. I feel way more confident that these are way better than the frame/engine mounts that were installed in the car before I got it. The funny thing about the old engine and frame mounts was I was cursing them out bigtime when I had the car on the ground and laying below it putting everything together. I should have reworked them back then but it sure made it easier on the lift. Been working bigtime on the Hemi powered Whippet
