I remember that T well from studying the article when it was in the magazine and the response it got at the time. I'm another one who says freshen it to it's original high standard but don't make changes to it to be changing anything due to the history of the car.
That 32 coupe flat spun my wheels when I saw it in the magazine and I have a friend up here who has one that looks quite similar that he built way back when and still brings out a few times a year.

What really got my juices flowing 40 plus years ago is cars like the T that Coddington built,,loved the resto rods,,after Boyd and everyone else got on the billet band wagon these kind of cars drifted away.

It's great to see the T survived,,please keep it the way it was built. HRP

Love HAMB threads like this that produce so much history on the hobby. I've got that issue of Street Rodder in the attic somewere always loved that Tudor. Chris, Welcome to the HAMB, thanks for posting the photos. I think that Centerdoor T in primer was also a cover car. Bob

First time post for a newbie. Saw this old thread and it was the reason I join the boards. I was looking for a way to reach out to the thread starter, "1951Streamliner". I have sent him a PM but no response. I too have some history about the Boyd built T and would love to re-hash some great memories with...

i think those cars still look good today. some of you may recall a trend that began around that time of having big rear tires that stuck way outside of the fenders (yuk).
