Hello everyone. Just digging back into my 57 Chevy truck after 20 years of raising kids. I am an Automotive Design Engineer by trade and grew up cruising Gratiot and Woodward Ave. in this truck. It was brought up here from Tennessee from which my Grandpa was the original owner. I have always liked the hot rodding history of this country and am building this truck with that in mind.. Keeping the straight axle and using parts from other trucks or cars when needed. Old school I guess. Right now the way it sits I have a 400/400 sitting in an unmolested frame. I flipped the stock rear axle to get it low ( looking for a newer axle by the way) .Up front I want to drop the axle and some posies dual leafs to get it way lower. Well that's all to now.
