Traded a shoebox ford parts car and some labor helping to paint a 56 ford for this. We took it for a run to get beer down the road it was a blast. Got some interesting reactions. Here is a video from the parking lot My kids will love it.
Ha ha no that video was on the way to the beer store the beer wasn't consumed till after I got my turn driving it back to the garage.
It was fun beer run. but it is the first time I have ever traded a runner for a non runner. Thanks for all the help on Juniors truck, you keep us motivated. I hope you and the kids get years of fun out of the little T. I expect to see it in a lot of parades.
"B-double E double R U-N beer run B-double E double R U-N beer run all we need is a ten and a five-er car and key and a sober driver. B-double E double R U-N beer run B-double E double R U-N beer run"...
My father gave me one of those for my 15th birthday. I was very disappointed, I was supposed to get the real thing. He promised my brothers and myself that if we worked in the tire business with him he would buy us our first car. Most of the time if I wasn't in school I was loading tires in or out of trucks, boxcars or making deliveries to recappers.
