I'm installing a Gambino notch in a 1954 Chevrolet 210. And was wondering what measurement's other people got from the end of the frame to the start of where the frame gets cut? I got 35". Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
You have to get your centerline from the body mount hole closest to the axle to the centerline of the wheel well. then transfer that to your frame. then center your notch over the centerline of the frame. I do most of the suspension here at gambinos so if you have any other questions just give me a call. (209) 814 1431. thanks jonny
Just wanted to get some measurement's from other people. I got it where I think it needs to go. I am always so worried when it comes to wheel placement. I measured my mustang ll a hundred times and now that it is installed I've probably measured it fifty more. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
thats fine to keep measuring but i just measured a 52 frame and i was about 33 3/4. every frame is going to be different thats why you cant really go by what other people say. if its centered with your wheel well, both sides are the same and leveled, weld that thing in! lol
