1962 thunderbird drop!!!

hey guys can anybody tell me how you get the damn coil springs out of that car? its driving me nuts

 

Unbolt the shock, put a jack under the lower a-arm, separate the upper ball joint, lower the jack slowly, and remove it.

 

Be very careful - the Spring is under tension and will come flying out. If you're putting new springs in just cut the old ones out with a torch.
