Here are some pics of the heap. 1962 milktruck. I'm thinkin flat white on top like it is but cleaner and black where the red is. Then lettering GOT OUTKASTS? in black letters on the the white half. And maybe some white scallops in the black part. OR pink and white with ruff rider on the side, I can't make up my mind.
This is inside the truck. It's locked and hinged on the bottom. Anyone know what would be inside or what it is for?
I believe it is an early type of tachograph to record the speed etc. of the truck. Ambulances etc. have them although now they are electronic but back in the day I think they printed on round graph paper as you drove. Stu
Is the Freezer working yet. I have dibs on the Lazy Boy in the back for the Roundup next year. I wonder if you could sell cold beer and write it off your taxes?
The back is shorter than it looks, lilmike can walk around no problem in it. It is an ammonia system that charges overnight then stay cold all day. Lucky fer me there is a guy that charges these types of systems in the town I live in.
Hard work is done, so here's a blank slate if others wanna play, or I'll jump back on this evening and finish up. I'm thinking 'Uncle Jerry's Creepy-*** Ice Cream!"
How about "Icy Jerry's Creepy *** Cream" Actually, I think it would be a crime to cover up any of the old lettering or paint. People spend big time/money to fake patina like that, why cover up the real ****? Very cool truck, I'm jealous.
The patina is there but just too patina'd. Hey BLAKE where ya at. I made ya some cottage cheese last night.
I was thinkin of a winkin' milkman with a crate marked 'Milk' (inside- bottles marked **X). ***y lady leg stickin out a door. 'Free backdoor service' or something like that. "Who's Your Daddy?" in script on the back!
Man - I'd chop the **** outta that; make the windows a damned slit. Then - drop the truck; hang a set of Alcoas on all four corners. That would be hot!
I dig the fenderwell headers but it's got a running 6 in it now. I may go with the 348 or 401 nailhead I have. Or maybe the 354 nailhead.
Red oxide and white primer, with the same lettering style and location as now but have it say TARNATION vice dream
