Well, I got the oil p***ages on the heads cleaned out but nothing changed as far as the amount of smoke. Smoke even rolls out of the oil fill tube for several minutes after turning her off. I could easily expect leaky seal and ring issues to cause the smoke, but like I said originally, and I keep coming back to this: the Bardahl No Smoke really made it worse. I guess now I need to get that oil changed and see how it looks after that. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1375562102.093014.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1375562192.546612.jpg this happens when I rev her up.

  2. Funny but true..............
I'm not telling anyone to try this but, my dear old Dad would drain his oil and then install one gal. of K2. Let the motor idle until it knocked. Drain the K2 and replace with oil. It may sound foolish but it has worked for many an old car I have owned.
Dad would also tell me to make sure I had alcohol in my radiator.........Thanks Dad

When you're driving the nasty stuff is supposed to get ****ed out the draft tube by the air flow & that's supposed to draw air in the oil fill cap. Doesn't really work all that well driving & not @ all when sitting still since there's no draft. That's why a PCV valve set up is a big improvemnt in getting stuff out of the crankcase. When you shut down heat rises so it'll smoke out the fill cap worse for a bit. As I said..I think I'd change oil & go with Risilone this time. "Restore" is supposed to fill in scored cyl walls, probably won't help glazed walls or stuck rings, even with scored walls it would just delay a rebuild slightly I'd think.
