Has anyone had experience with the new English wheel Eastwood is advertising ($499 & no shipping charge)? I know it is not a professional piece of equipment, but for my garage - non-production use, small panels, patches, etc. I thought it might work well, and the price seems good. Any feedback would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

For what you want to use it for, it will be fine. You'll probably want to invest in a shrinker/stretcher as well if you plan on doing metal shaping as well as a bead roller. The hand rollers work o.k if you stiffen the frame and have help. They can be converted to run on a motor or even a variable drill/footswitch with good results.

I have one in my body shop for several years works great! make sure you get the anvil kit it only comes with one anvil. I've made almost complete bodies with it. you might want to get a ron covell video on metal shaping he's the master makes shaping alot easier

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll go for it and the anvil kit.
