1953 Chevy 210 Transmission Swap

I know this is an old thread but I just have to say that you are ALL crazy if you think that 53 chevy cars didn't come out with 216's because mine is ALL original With a 216.

 

And now, it's a REALLY old thread, but I can't help myself in straightening out this point; in 1953, p***enger cars could be had with a 216, but only as part of a fleet order, which involved a minimum of 50 units. Company cars, in other words, which in those days were completely stripped vehicles.
