It`s been a while since I`ve posted much on here. I lurk around a lot and read a ton on here. I mostly use the search feature, since about every question known to man has been asked..

About a year ago I decided it was time to build something. I have always wanted an A or a T, so I decided to see what I could find. I searched on here and didn't find anything very close, so I went on E-bay and actually found a guy who had 2-27 coupes for sale up in Havre Montana. That`s not to long of a drive for us, about a 14 hour drive, so a good weekend trip. So I gave him a call and he said they were mine if I come and got them. So I gave him a deposit via Paypal and the rest is history.
The week before we got ready to head his way, I gave him a call to let him know we were going to be there on Saturday. He asked me how much room we had and if I wanted a 29 Sedan as well for $500 Bucks! I said why not!?!
The guy said there were enough parts to build one solid T. The one T was a complete car, but had been in a fire! So I wasn't sure what to expect. The other was a very solid Coupe Bottom half, and we had 2 really good doors to go with them! Typical Montana car, solid body, little rust and no bullet holes!

So my best friend Joe and I loaded up and headed for Havre Montana.

Met up with a fellow Hamber Russ V. in Great Falls. We stayed the night at his place and he showed us some of his projects and we ended up at the local airport. Seen some stuff we shouldn't have.... Like all the streetrods being build in airplane hangers:D

Then it was off to Havre, this was our load, 2 T`s one on the trailer, one in the truck bed and 29 Sedan to boot!

On our way back we stopped and ate breakfast with Russ V. He thought we had a pretty good load. Here a pic of Russ and me.

So we made it home, didn't lose anything or have any breakdowns. So I would say it was a successful trip.
Here`s some better pics of the two T`s. Like I said the one had been in a fire and was pretty much toasted:eek: But the other body was solid, and there is enough here to make something, I got good doors for the one and I can steal the top half and trunk lid and other small parts that are salvageable from the burnt one.

Here is the other one with the good body and good doors.

Needless to say I got me work cutout for me. More pics to follow.

Today I removed the top from the burnt coupe, surprisingly it`s in decent condition. The passenger side got a little hot and warped the sheetmetal, but nothing that cant be hammered out. The metal is still solid and not got the beer can feeling to it, so I`m sure it`s salvageable.

The rearend of the good body had a nice smash in it below the trunk lid. Fortunately the parts car had a good one of these. So with a little help from my trusty air hammer and a sharp chisel I had those pesky rivets gone and the back half removed in a few minutes.

    Removed,

Went ahead and removed the floor pans, since I wont be using any of the originals anyways. 5 minutes later I had this.

Pulled off the backend of the parts T. The parts car is slowly vanishing. Still got lots of parts I`m going to salvage for other projects or sell.
