Just an update. It seems like this car has been in the shop for six months. Oh, wait. It HAS! I removed side aluminum trim and welded in the holes, removed the sail panels and filled in the ugly seam beneath. Once paint is complete, I have new rubber, new windshield, new wheels and tires waiting on it. Rechromed trim, bought new door handles. S****ed fifty years worth of **** off the block and transmission so it can be painted. Whew. I am officially broke for a while! Will probably be able to post pics of completed paint in about three weeks. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
