I'm building a 31 Model A traditional hot rod using as many pre '55 parts as I can find. The body is a Cabriolet, or what was left of it - a rusted out turtle and a cowl that some idiot took a torch to and cut the front out of and cut through the center of the floor board supports on each side. I've got a donor cowl front but at almost $300 for this floor board support pieces, I'm building my own. I think I have figured out the design of the original, but I need to know the dimensions of the bottom and angled front floor boards for a 30-31 A. Can anyone help with pictures and dimensions?

    Hi John
If you post over at the Ford Barn you will get what you need.

You might however not mention that are building a hot rod, but just that you are looking to repair a Cabriolet floor.

Also, Flop, from the reply just above, has forgotten more about fabbing Model A sheetmetal than most of us will ever know. IMO His build threads should be subscribed to by anyone fabbing sheetmetal on an A.
