bought a 56 ford fairlane!

    Just bought a 56 ford fairlane 2 dr ht.Gonna build a mild kustom. 3 on the tree and 292 y- block. Engine n ****** have been rebuilt. New frame braces car was on a rottiserie Owner was a bodyshop owner. Gonna paint it HOK red with a white interior with merc sw tailights.

    Yeah, they are. (I had 3 of 'em in the '60s) They (Customline/Fairlane) share the low roofline with the Vicky, but have the small chrome trim.
    Probably my favorite Ford.

    Well alright! It sounds like you've found a project that has a lot of the hard work already done. Can't wait to hear what you've got in mind for this.

    Blue Paint , Black interior & a sbc , OR you could try red Paint , white interior and top it all off With a 292 & 3-speed :D

    Will post pics ,would have liked to have sold my galaxie first got 15 grand in here did all the work except ****** rebuild but havent got any bites yet.People are broke these days!

    probably start blocking his urethane primer with guide coat.Then re-prime n block.Mechanically its all done.Ill have to drive it over without the gl*** .Ill see ya soon and will discuss a workplan.Mike
