I got a 34 Ford radiator from Griffin. They're stating no one has ever had problems mounting the grille shell and the brackets, but me. Does anyone have a Griffin for their 34? Did you have to modify it? If anyone has photos of the top of an original '34 radiator, I'd be greatly appreciative. I thought the 4 holes for the grille on top were originally threaded. Also, are the feet on your radiator 90 degrees to your radiator or are they slanted? Thanks!!
Make sure the brackets you have are correct for the body style. A truck and a car have different mounting brackets on the side but use the same radiator.
Continentaljohn- Once the grille is sitting on the radiator, how are you getting to the front two holes coming off the tabs? The grille covers them and I'm lost on how to get to them without tapping or adding hardware to those front dudes. Flat feet?! I would've lost that bet...I thought since radiator is tilted, feet would be.
The 4 holes on top are threaded originally, and the side shell mounts are different 33, 34 and pickup.
Do you know if the bottom feet are supposed to be angled or at 90 to radiator? Threaded holes makes sense to me. I don't see how else the grille would attach and actually stay on the car.
You sir, have done your good deed for the day. Much appreciated. Now if only I can decide where to put inlet...
