Lots of big announcements about Salt, Elegance, Art & Hot Lap Bonus Clip.

First - Harold will be the official announcer for the 65th Anniversary Speed Week on the Salt in Bonneville. You can listen to a LIVE streamcast starting on Saturday Aug 10th from the website which also has lots of good history and photos.

Second - Where They Raced has been invited to the World Cl*** Automotive Film Festival as part of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. I'll be screening a 30 minute sneak peek on 16th & 17th followed by a Q&A session. Let me know if you'll be up there! I'll be at some of the car auctions or watching some of the other films at the festival and I hope to get out to Laguna Seca for the Motorsports Reunion.

Third - I hope you like the new poster art (above) that features a beautiful Miller front wheel drive.

And last is a new HOT LAP BONUS VIDEO - with a couple of clips that were too good to leave on the cutting room floor, but did not quite fit into Lions Drag segment. Enjoy and p*** it on.

The finish line is in sight... I am editing the last chapter now. Information on DVDs, digital downloads and even T-shirts soon! I am still looking for photos or home movies from the 1950's or '60's... especially any that have Bob Daniels, Bud ****s, Chic Cannon, Erik Rickman (especially the 4 of them together), Steve Gibbs, CJ Hart, Lou Baney, Wally Parks with Chief Parker - or Parker at the drag strip.

We need more FACEBOOK likes, so please like us and p*** this email on to your fellow gearhead / motorsports fans.

    THANKS.

Anyone know why sometimes the Vimeo link embeds on the page and sometimes it is just a link? It seems totally random.
