I enjoyed that car when Neil had it here in Denver. We hated to see it go. It's a cl***ic. Well done!

Thats a real famous car around these parts. Don Coleman was well known in the Denver area and we saw him often at local events. After his p***ing, we all felt the car was in good hands with Neal East. He drove it to breakfast regularly where a bunch of get together every Saturday morning. When Neal decided to sell, I was plenty sad, wondering what might happen to it but it looks like it finally may be in a good place again. Just glad it didn't get the sbc!

Just goes to show, it doesn't hurt to poke around on the HAMB. Almost didn't open what looked like another Feel Good thread, only to find a fantastic hotrod!

The real story here is the Deuce, I have to say. Who knew it was hiding under this thread ***le? Good folks and all, you're right, but man, what a cool car! Congrats.

Very nice car Mark! Thanks for the kind words. My feelings exactly! Don't know if I told you or not but Denver was my home for 35 years and that's where I got started in the hot rod sickness. I was a member of the Sabers of Denver car club and knew most of the people that were into cars at the time. Can't say that I knew Coleman but knew of him. That coupe is a great find with a lot of history! Enjoy it, my friend

Well the 32 dried out and I got a chance to take it down the driveway:cool: (I have a long driveway) Also got it on the lift and started checking things over. Don Coleman did some neat things to this car. Some stuff will need attention. Not sure yet how far that will be. Will enjoy it in the meantime. Pictures from today. I know you guys like pictures:rolleyes: Last shot with sign boards from Richard Munz who owned my roadster many years ago before I redid it. Also thanks for all the kind words and encouragement from all you HAMBERS.
