Question about a 1956 buick

Well I finally got a motor and trans back in my 1956 buick special station wagon but it been so long that my clutch is slipping upstairs {my brain}Question is there is a water hose that comes from the bottom of the radiator and I cant remember where the other end goes to. There is an water outlet on the intake but I am pretty sure that goes to the heater core. Can any on here help this old timer out. Thanks in advance. Bruce.

Bruce it should go to the water pump.

Don't forget about the transmission cooling lines at the bottom of the radiator too.
