Hi. I am new to this thread. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right:D direction and advice on a list of sub frames I could possibly use, measurements and easiest ways to accomplish this task without using an s10 frame.

    Hi Bob not Rob.
Your introduction is a bit sp****, and after you tell us a bit more about yourself, go over to the main Message Board and ask your question there - this is the Intros page and not so many people come here.
    Cheers.

Well, I stubbed a S10 onto the front of my 1953 Chevy from the firewall forward? But I'll say it was a lot of work to make it look right. Don't think I'd do it over that way other than it was nice to go get parts for the brakes/steering at any parts store.

    bobert1950 welcome to the site.
Here is a list I found of front clips, I'd say find yourself a whole s10 longbed frame if you can't find a clip. The thing I like about a narrower clip is you have better control on your wheel tuck. The camaro clips really push your wheels out, I personally don't like front wheels way out, though certain rims will give you different back spacings. Lots of guys do front clips, I'm sure you'll find what you need in this info, if not keep asking. You better have a good welder and or know someone with one, if your gonna clip it. A whole s10 frame sway is easy too.

here's a list of front and rear ends, listing widths, weights, etc.... near the bottom for front ends used in clipping a car..
The first gen camaro is slightly narrower than the second gen (70 - 82). First gen is 60 on the rear and approx. 60 1/2 on the front, which is almost exactly the same as your 50. This measurement is mounting surface to mounting surface (outside hub). The second gen is 61 1/2 on the front and 60 1/2 on the rear, mounting surface to mounting surface. Scroll down near the bottom of the info below and you'll find some clip measurements.
