Buddy of mine has a beautiful 60 cad convertible, 25K original mile car, black white top black and white interior. Everything works but the cruise control, he has by p***ed it with a longer speedometer cable but wants it fixed. Anyone know someone that works on this stuff?
Might have to pick up a copy of Hemmings motor news to get it fixed,we used to have a company who fixed them along with radios and other automotive electronics but those companies are closing up these days.
Theres a guy here in Jersey who fixes them. Reasonably too. Michael Cascio. He's here in north jersey. casciomichael at hotmail dot com 862 three seven seven four six seven two He quoted me, IIRC, around $200 for a typical fix, but again that was an estimate but seemed reasonable. He did say he wanted the unit AND the control cable with control head. It's a perfect circle Speedostat, same unit that's in my Lincoln.
