I figured they were different all the way around. I was hoping maybe he took the seats out of the two door actually but it doesn't look like it. I have seven yards of fabric waiting to be used so I can have the seats in the two door recovered with that. I need to see what kind of shape the interior is in concerning the two door.

I think they are good actually. Yeah, rebuilding those bad boys ****! There's a three speed standard that comes with it also so I might stick that in the two door.

I looked up a brochure from 55 that shows the specials having full wheel well openings. I love those with hubcaps and slammed to the ground in the *** end with whitewalls. Not original I know but what is these days?

QUOTE=Dan Timberlake;9141548]I was thinking only limited production high end models of Buicks had full rear wheel openings, like the Wildcat and Centurion show cars.

Seemed when you asked where the 55 was you were interested in it. Your "lol" comment speaks for itself I would say bro.

So you are ***uming that I tried to buy those cars out from under you because I asked a question? No, I'm not interested in a Buick. I made the comment because your thread ***le says "55 Buick", yet your post talks about '58 Buicks. So I was confused and asked about this discrepancy, that's all. Have a nice day.

First off, my sincere apologies! Actually didn't think it was you. I figured maybe it was good old har***ment. Someone did make a call who viewed the post. I realized I created confusion and corrected it. I didn't mean to offend and I miss interpreted your post. Someone from another part of the country tried to buy them this morning. Hope were square and I apologize again!

If the stick is behind a 264, a 322 (and your right foot) will kill it pretty quick.

I have a black 4 door post at home that looks almost exactly the same. It has a dealer installed air system in it.

I had dark green 55 a few years ago... loved driving it !!! FYI.... the seats from the 4dr won't work in the 2dr. Front seat doesn't fold forward and the rear seat a bunch different.

So,,,,, just give the the 4dr for saving you a bunch of work :)

Lemme know what you are going to do with the 4dr.... I might be interested in it.

They might both stay. One for me and one for her!

I don't want to sway any decisions but the 4 door is the better car... Saw it about an hour ago...

Yeah, maybe so. Not planning on getting rid of either of them I don't think. I know it would be a nice surprise for my girl to fix the 4dr up for her and then build the 2dr for myself. We had to let go of a 57 caddy project she had her heart set on last year.

I think it's going to work out ok! I had a 56 4dr for awhile and it was pretty cool. I like the looks of the 55 better so I think I'm going to enjoy it.
