If you haven't seen "Sin City" yet, go rent it. there are some neat cars in the movie, besides that the movie rules.
Cool movie. another suggestion: they released the novel version of the Outsiders with a new soundtrack. The new soundtrack makes it way cooler.
Yeah I love this movie. Between the black and white with stratigically chosen colours, and the old cars, it is one of the best movies I have ever seen.
Wait to buy the Director's Cut on DVD this Christmas. They flesh the 3 stories out to an HOUR a piece! Lot's special features and ****,too
i cant believe nobody mentioned the hot chicks in either lingerie or half **** throughout the whole movie...!!! god i love that movie
sorry to say it, but I went and paid like almost $30 the day the dvd came out because it mentioned Quentin Tarantino.........mistake Its a good movie, but by no means a GREAT like Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction, or even Desperado that Robert Rodriguez himself made. And if Sin City didnt have the cars, it would be alot worse. It is worth renting though.
Quentin only directed the scene where Clive Owen drives Benicio Del Toro's body to the tar pit or whatever it was called and he imagines that Benicio is talking to him.
...in an airplane hangar. ...with me running around like a chicken with handfuls of gaff tape and duvatine. Nice check, though.
Well if folks are watching it thinking it'll be an academy award winner then they are gonna be let down. The movie was based off of a Comic Book by Frank Miller. It's not supposed to be a "movie" persae or be on par with Quentin Tarantinos other films. This is a comic book put on film and with that in mind, there has NEVER been a good representation of a comic artist's work on film until this movie. but that's just my opion.
bringing comics to film, has been a pretty hit and miss endevour. (take both punishers as an example: all the stupid god damn ********ing ****heads had to do was follow the ****ing comic books and they would be fine, but nooo, they got to get all inventive and ****.) this film, differentiating between mindless uninventive drivel that is pandered to the drooling m***es that most movies are, attempts to show the darkness and feeling that a comic has. it also attempts to bring the imagination of comic to life. when reading one, the "viewer" has to fill in the action between the scenes, subtleties, such as how they move. bringing a graffic novel to the screne took balls and all in all they did a damn good job. it followed the pace of the novels, it weaved multiple story lines together seamlessly, and it looked damn good doing it.

Or maybe "The Punisher" .the made fer T.V. version.... Marty Sheen shoulda won an Oscar for the Cali Kid....but Vic Morrow...just lost his head.(at least an Emmy!) Frank miller is a Homo.
Very well done movie. I can't wait for the director's cut. It was cool to see actual comic book pages on the screen. They captured some of the art perfectly, like when Marv was talking to the social worker with all the band-aids. This movie, like most movies based on comics, is OK if you haven't read the comics but really comes to life when you know everything else that's going on. This is now my favorite comic movie, p***ing The Crow.
Hey there's a lot more on this topic in this old post: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50006
