ok that makes a lot of sense, it fills in a lot of details for me i plan on taking thicker sheet metal to connect the connecting rails to the floor and stock supports. i like what you did to connect the rails to the body and im thinking of doing something similar as my tunnel is going to have to change a lot for the six speed trans i have.

Im still plugging away on it.. after awhile off from working on it, and elbow surgery from a work accident, I managed to get some stuff done over the winter and up to now.

built a rotisserie so I finished the underneath parts

Great build! Nothing sounds as good as a nicely built big block!

I'll be up that way in June, I think. July for sure.

picked up an aluminum fuel cell,, tested fitted it to the frame

fits like it was meant for the car,, so put in a sending unit and proper vented fill cap

ive had a set back with my elbow since going back to work,, so have had some time off from the car, and work.. slowly getting strength back again and going to hit it again this fall. hopefully get all the bodywork done and finally finish the floors and get it undercoated and sealed. hopin the 1/4 panel can make its way here in the next month or so then I can get cracking fast.

I see that you went thru it top to bottom so it should be good.
