Henry's sedan and Roger Ritzow's Roadster built by Troy are probably my favorite two '32's of all time. Funny to me because they were built within the last decade. This hobby and industry need more young guys like Henry. JH
The sedan is by far one of the coolest sedans to hit the road in years,,I hope Henry gets a premium,,If only I could hit the lottery that car would live out it's days in South Carolina. HRP
Beautiful car, I saw it in Austin and the Nationals. To me it's a work of art. the attention to detail is amazing and equal to any I've seen from any builder. (Can you tell I like it?) My question would be How many labor hours did it take? If you built that in 1500 hours then you are more of a wizard than I think. And I think you are dang good already.
Not spending 130 grand on a hot rod means one doesn't have a pot to piss in? Kinda snobby aren't ya? Nobody said the car wasn't worth it.
Just because someone spent a long time building something doesn't mean it's automatically worth the number of hours x the hourly rate. Everything has a value determined by the market. What someone else thinks it's worth in other words. Is this car worth 130 grand? I don't think so, but someone might.
Its worth every penny to me,I mean look at the build of this car.1500 hrs is funny,I bet that car has more thought and planning time than anything built for a long time.Fit and finish is over the top.
Well, the self styled low rents always seem to be the first to criticize any car that they see as being beyond their means either dollar or skill wise. It puts them in the "club". I've seen photos of that car in who knows how many coverages of different events and 70% of the time it seems that it is a photo of it moving. Fantastic looking car that is extremely well thought out, has one of the greatest stances going and has run up 30K miles in it's first year out while taking award after award away from the special built to win trailer queens that don't get driven because they might show road wear and not win a show award. What more can a guy ask for? Hell, 130 K will get you a fifteen year old Ferrari that you have to have an expensive service on every 10 K and you damn well aren't going to send your folks on a thousand mile one way road trip in at any time.
Beautiful car, somebody will step up and buy it. 130 K is ALOT of money to me, personally, I would rather have 3 43K cars and have the fun of driving them and wearing them out some. I might be wrong, but not to many cars of that $$$ get driven much, as they are works of art. Roger Ritzow is the only man that I have met that drives his beautiful pro- built cars,on a regular basis. My hats off to him, Kool guy and a nice man. John
Why don't you have one then ya "low rent" A '49 or so Chevy pick up sure as hell ain't worth much! Are you a wanna be?
Never seen this one in person but I have seen Henry whip some donuts in the middle of Woodward Ave. during the Dream Cruise in traffic. He builds them to beat on....and they look good doing it!
It is a very nice looking and well built car, As far as the price goes....I have seen "big Money" pay a hell of alot more for some Dumb*** picture that hangs on a wall.
It's cheap! How about $439,000 for a repro deuce? ---->http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1932...8550108?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3384a221dc
that car has to be great to sport that color. by the way that color was very popular in the mid to late 60s in Viet Nam when i served with the 101st Airborne Div. tuff hotrod & would be hard to duplicate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You need an education in the worst way. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=724203&highlight=steadfast+32&showall=1
Henry's sedan is one of the best 1932's you will see that is on his 4th pair of rear tires! While driving to the Round-UP in Austin TX Henry decided he should see NM "Area 51" before driving thru an Colorado Ice storm on his way to Tulsa before going home. Everyone will totally enjoy the current Steadfast MFG 32 roadster build, each build Henry raises the bar. This roadster will be just outstanding! If I could get my wife a second job we would own Henry's sedan!!!!! Bob
