Fatabone and I went on a fieldtrip today. We went to Southern MD to check out a 34 ford frame.

We get there to find a huge old tobaco barn full of car parts. Before we even made a deal on the parts the guy gave us the 34 grill. Slightly bent and twisted! I went on to buy the frame along with a door and cowl. All for $700!I went from being a headlight ***** to a 34 ***** :D Now I have the beinnings of two roadsters

Fatabone scored a nice pair of guide headlights and a spare tire cover.

Now that I have a frame we couldn't resist a little mock up :D

Then Jr (fatabone) decided he wanted to straighten the quarter for me

I love field trips! There was also a 36 three window and a 50 ford along with m***ive piles of parts we couldn't get into to see in some other buildings. I think Clark's 34 is going to go together quicker than he says.

George...that is a 37 Ford truck grill. It will get narrowed and shortened before it's done.

Here's one cut down on my old RPU
