Removing 1954 Bel Air Trim

    I am going be removing the side trim on my Bel Air.....I want to be a little pro-active and order some sheet metal 'punch outs' to fill em....anybody know what size?

    If the trim holes are anything like Fords they are several different sizes,,my best advice is to remove the trim and go from there. HRP

    ive never measured them -but most studs are 1/4 inch. I'd say maybe 5/16 to allow for slight adjustments???

    Prob half of the holes are oblong shaped. Rear quarters at least, 5/16x3/8" maybe? Doors and front fender holes are about 5/16" some on quarters are size of about a dime on the rock guards. Lower rocker trim holes are rectangle. About 5/16x1/2". I am just going off memory though. You are in for a TON of welding.
