Early Ford? part ID

I picked these up a while ago as a basis for flathead V8 engine mounts. I've always wondered what they really were off of, and happened to find them today, so thought I'd ask if anyone recognized them.

They do look similar to a set of '37-'39 Ford Flathead motor mounts for the 60 HP engine. Maybe these are for '40 with 60 HP?

 

Something similar came out of my 40 but hit the scrap box immediately---Skid and JM are real close on the identity.
