Event Coverage Western MD street Rod Roundup labor day weekend

I try to start event threads I attend 2+ weeks early so people who want to go can plan on attending.
This long time event is well attended by Hambers and I know Gary T, PA Comet, Ranunculus, Sir Woosh and many others will be there...
I will again be there vending as usual but who else is going to try to make it this year?

I hope to be there. Let's hope for cooler weather. Last time I was there it was cooking in the valley.

 

Ya Clik it can get a bit hot n sticky....Nice Fairgrounds though...scenic secluded and plenty of shade which helps.
If a cold one will help cool your duels stop over n see me...beer on me (note that I said beer....not beers as in multiples)....some of you Hamb guys can really "down em" !!

You bet Jibs, I head down Thursday night after work and stay at the C***ellman in Grantsville, then head down to FG on Friday morning to set up my vending spot...Hey we're almost neighbors, I live in Bethel Park !!

 

Thanks Bob. I'll stop by and say hey, but I never was much of a drinker. I would have rather downed a half dozen milk shakes anyday. Now-a-days with diabetes that's out too. Gettin' old I guess. But never fear, I'm sure there's another HAMBster that'll drink your Iron City beer .

 

We've got a lot in common Clik....I rarely drink (as a get easily ****faced) and am diabetic to boot ! Stop over and we'll shoot up some insulin together and watch some old hot rod movies....that's what I sell !!

Carl....Just for you we have Straub, but also a few Coors Xtra Gold, maybe some Coors Lite or a few Rolling Rocks for me....2 a day is my limit...get me loaded and I will be giving away all my stuff at the booth !!

 

Carl, lay off that other beer, It's mine!! i'll bring some YingLing down to BigBobs tent and both of you can watch me drink it. (my parents didn't teach me how to share)

Yup Mr Chevrolet....Carl has a great taste for fine beer....not to much taste at all in choosing his friends though!!! We're proof of that !!

Coming up again this year and I hope THAT maybe I can meet all of you. I'll try to leave the wife and niece at home this year , alleviating the "It's sooo hot, can we go now?" or "Are we there yet?"

 

We are still waiting for the beer you was bringing to rally in the Valley--Oh,I forgot ---it was sprinkling that day,& some people don't want to get their car wet hahahahahha

You are always welcome at my booth Gary....everybody seems to be heading down early this year....glad I decided to take the extra day off and go back to Friday set up. Didn't miss much in sales by not going Friday last year but sure is nice not to miss 4 hours of Saturday morning and having it all done Friday.
Going to have no less than 6 car movies playing at once on 6 different screens so everybody should be able to watch what they want.....that is as long as my DVD order comes in on time !! Sold a ton up at Mopar Nationals last weekend.

 

Oh,I'm sure we will see each other a lot--I'm moteling it this year too at Super 8 ---Gotta see how many cases of Straub will fit in the roadster (some guy I know really likes that stuff haha)

 

I am planning to leave for there Friday morning. Looking forward to it

 

We have a few cars coming up from the valley Friday am.
Anyone know if there will be any firewood onsite to purchase?
