    Hey Guys,

For the life of me, I can't find the specs on what bolts I need to mount the flywheel to my 50 8ba flathead. I read in some thread about a guy finding some ARP bolts that worked, ableit they weren't labeled for this particular application. Also, is a shim necessary for these flywheels?

    THanks!

I have used the ARP flywheel bolts, but had to chamfer the holes slightly to get them to seat properly.
What type of shim are you referring to?

I called ARP about needing 8BA flywheel bolts with a lower head to clear clutch discs with larger springs. The bolts they sent me are:
P10AP.750-1. These are 7/16" X .750"; 3/4 hex, .250" shank, .250" head thickness. They do require a very small chamfer, and the stock bolt plate is not needed.

i have a few of those shims, and (i think) they're either for getting proper starter/flywheel spacing or using an 8ba flywheel in a 59a. am i on the right track?
