I need to transport a 64 Dodge A100 from Alpine, Calif 91901--to Clinton, Ohio 44216. The amount of internet transporter in mind numbing. This is a $5000.00 ride not a chip foose big dollar car. An open transport should be fine. So who has had there car shipped? I'm getting prices from $730.00-$1400.00. I know you get what you pay for. But who do you trust? Who would you ship a $5000. ride with? Some might say fly out drive back. Well this truck has cooling issues (head gasket reason the price is good). so driving it backs NOT going to happen.

Alpine isnt a great place to ship out of. There just isnt much shipping around that area and most drivers out of LA will take HWY 15 north. So its gonna take a little bit extra to get one of them to come over out of there way to grab it. Id run it for around $1200 and see what happens. Those priced lower wont get it picked up over there. When I run the numbers it comes out to around $1000 in the LA area. So no way it would get picked up for $730 even in an area that has a lot of trucks running.
