What 15" or 16" wheels will fit a stock 29 Model A? Just looking for stock type steel wheels. Also, is there an inexpensive way to lower the car a bit? It's an all original(even the paint) barn find Sport Coupe. Planning on doing an old hotrod look without modifying the car too much. Even want to keep original banger with just a bit of "speed equipment".
    Thanks

Congrats on your new find. Many new owners have these same questions and the search feature will be a great help to you.

Find a set of 40 Ford rims,,they would be about right for the kind of look you are after. HRP

Update to cast drums if you change the wheels. The original wheels add to the original steel brake drum strength.

  6. Remember that wire wheels go with mechanical brake drums and steel wheels go with hydraulic brake drums or you NEED AN ADAPTER. The fact that they are all 5 on 5 1/2 is only part of the story.
