I want to rebuild my original shocks (I KNOW about front end swaps/ external tube shock fitting, etc, but our goofy laws here won't let me use anything but the originals!) so I am trying to find exploded diagrams/ info etc, about rebuilding these ****ers. The diagrams in the shop manual are of little use. As far as i can see they all leak at the shaft seal, and should not be too hard to fix.
Try the www.inliners.org website. They usually have some information in their Tech Tips section. Normbc9

Thanks 2racer, but it,s not that type. The one I'm after is the top "A" arm intergrated shock- I think they started about "42 and stopped in 48. I have done my time with the big Knee action type on my old "37 - never again!
They're the ones, but to have my old ones sent over to rebuild, the freight would be a killer (I'm in Australia). That's why i want to give them a go myself.
