    What is so special about these head on the Chevy inline 6? My 54 AD w/235 has them.

    They had the larger 1.94" intake valves in them.

    Also, a slightly smaller combustion chamber, good for maybe an extra half point in C.R.; 8.2:1 vs. 7.7:1 or so. Not a game changer, but if you need a valve job, you might consider swapping heads at the same time.

  5. Yup, bigger valves and smaller chamber- they were/are the popular choice for making more power in a Chevy 6.
