Looks like General Gow is gonna get the goods. Too bad his car is down. But that doesn't matter for this one anyway. I'll check back tomorrow and confirm if no one else posts.

Well Stewart's Root Beer is scarce for some reason here in CO. Couldn't find any yesterday. What is going on in this place? May just have to go IBC.

  4. If you happen to be heading through Louisburg, KS there's some fantastic Root Beer (Lost Trail) made there at the Louisburg Cider Mill. I'll be bringing more than my fair share...I'll share...but just a little.:D

We have a vintage soda shop here but I didn't get a chance to go by. They have the Lost Trail brand. It is good stuff. They have a bunch of others too. Bulldog and Sprecher are my favorites. I'm sure I'll find some between here and Joplin.

With that said Generalgow gets the goods. He well deserves it in my opinion.

trailers don't count, you need to be driving the old car.

Sure....14:1 , stroked 327 , ole school injected motor, race gas, slicks and straight axle. HAMB drags are suppose to be fun, not a reliability run.

He does that in his 32 Hemi Roadster.......ummm back n forth to so cal 14 times in an open car from Texas. Be safe this week !

Rusty forgot to stop in Joplin, and drove an extra 80 miles to Springfield. ;-)

I did say hey to him, and that I was glad that I parked in the '40 Ford section of the parking lot.

    See ya tomorrow, Rusty!
